My username, GA-Midnight Cruise was my late big brother's CB handle back in the 70's. I hope to name a future boat as such in my brother's honor, but it takes a very long bow to get all the letters in, even abbreviating. We always had a boat in Jupiter, FL. We kept our boat at Conch Cove Marina. Burt had a boat there and we had alot of great memories. The marina burned in a completely devastating fire in 1979. I cried like a babe at the loss of our beloved center console that would cross to West End, Bahamas and run the Jupiter Inlet. I had enough sea time to have a near coastal endorsement, but was not old enough for any of it to apply. This was ground zero to my current affliction of running bars and inlets. Man we caught big fish then too. If you were a kid in Jupiter, you learned to pilot the bar before you had your first kiss. It was a great place to be in the 70's and 80's. Like my bro and Burt, they don't make them like that anymore. GA-Midnight Cruise.
