Hello, for those of you who are C-24 Coupe owners, would you please 1) list what your C-24 tongue weight totals when loaded on a trailer? Also, 2) the GVW of your C-24 + trailer?
Realizing this could be different depending on how full your tanks are, if you would also post how full your tanks usually are, that would be helpful. But if you don't remember, just post the tongue weight and GVW you remember. I am attempting to discern if my 2012 F150 SuperCrew 4x4 Platinum EcoBoost truck will be safe to tow the C-24 loaded on a trailer. Thank you!

We purchased a 242 coupe recently. I have no exact numbers yet, but the high end number for dry weight is 6200 lbs (some sources list 4900, but that seems too optimistic), plus about 1200 for our aluminum trailer. For galvanized trailers the weight would likely be a few hundred more. Max load fuel and water etc adds about 1000lbs. So 8500 lbs max seems a safe high limit (7500 dry) for us. Our 2019 F150 3.5l ecoboast is rated at 12700 LBS with the MAX tow package. We towed from Virginia to Florida in January and it was surprisingly easy.

I am towing my 2018 C24 back to Maryland from Punta Gorda Florida early next month and plan on stopping by a certified truck scale to weigh my boat and aluminum trailer. I tow with water tank empty and fuel as low as I can. I tow with a 2500 Suburban two wheel drive that is rated around 9000 pound towing capacity and have no problems towing. One of the most important thing is to have E rated tires or better. I will post the weights next month.
