C-26 Window Latch Attachment

Stbd side window latch on our 2012 C-26 came flying off recently (landed INboard luckily!) and looking for re-attachment suggestions? Black 5200? Mastic (which is what it appears original method was)? Epoxy or MarineTex? Open for suggestions and help. Thanks in advance!

Same thing happened on my R21 Classic. Tried silicone sealer. No joy. Tried the rear-view mirror cement. No joy. Hope somebody has a solution.

You might want to try a product called ( E6000 ) works great on glass and any other items that you need to bond together. I posted a picture of the product in my photo album, it made in the U.S..

Mine came off within one year. Used 5200 and clamped it on, using wood against the glass to avoid breaking. Has held fine.
