C-28 bow rail mods

Hello all,

I need to modify the bow rail and the forward platform that holds the bow ladder. My intention is to completely remove the platform and make a much smaller version that does not stick out past the hull. I would like to modify the ss rail so that it also is much shorter.
Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Our marina has very strict rules on excess length.

I want to find out how the fwd. ladder [platform is mounted. Is it just bolted in place or is it alse
glued or bonded in place ?

Jim,

The bow pulpit is bolted down via the two cleats that are on the pulpit then glued down. Hope this helps you. Let me know if there is anything I can help with.
