Does everyone with a C24 coupe have to constantly adjust their trim tabs to keep an even keel while cruising?

On our C24 there are times that I don’t have to adjust them but at times I am adjusting them quite often. It’s a small boat and wind, currents and waves make a big difference for us. Also if my wife moves around I have to adjust the trim tabs. I have been down the Chesapeake Bay in perfect conditions and for two hours I didn’t have to mess with the tabs. We were traveling at a constant 35 mph but speed changes will effect the balance on the boat. Adjusting the tabs are second nature to me now.

I added AutoGlide to my trim tabs and it adjusts them frequently. I don’t think about it much, since it’s automated now. Maybe that is an option for you.

Thanks, I was thinking about autoglide. It's a little spendy, where did you mount it?

I bought and installed the Autoglide on a complete gamble. I knew of nobody who had it installed. There was little info on the web about it (reviews and such). Just some Lenco infomercial videos from 7-8 years ago.

The Lenco Autoglide is in my top 3 best upgrades I’ve done to my boat. The boat drives better, handles better, gets on plane quicker… and I never pay any attention to the tabs. I don’t adjust them, ever. Throttle and engine trim is all I adjust. Autoglide totally exceeded all my expectations by a mile. It’s well worth it. If you shop around, it's offered at discount pricing. I paid just under $1k for it. (Single actuator, no N2k/GPS).

I mounted the controller behind the refrigerator. I didn’t make a video of it due to time constraints, but I do have a video of the fridge removal, which is required for the installation.
