I previously wrote about a front panel on the starboard that opens to expose part of the starboard side of the engine. Turns out there is a panel that exposes the entire front of the engine. Open the door to the floor compartment. Remove the two screws holding that first fuel filter (or whatever) on the wall and set is aside. (No need to do anything with the other two screws as they just hold a spacer on.) Then find the two angle brackets at floor level that mount the wall panel to the floor. Remove these screws and push down and forward on the panel to drop it out from the upper channel. The entire panel then can be removed to expose the entire front of the engine.
Now easy to tension the belts or remove the water pump to change out the impeller.
