After many months of anticipation, we are taking Delivery of our new Cutwater 28 on 17 July. We have a few days to figure our latest boat out then we're headed north for our first Desolation Sound adventure.
My bride, Jennelle, has a meeting in downtown Seattle on 24 July; so, we've made reservations at Bell Harbor to enjoy an evening there on our new red boat. Our plan is leave Seattle 25 July in the early AM and start working our way up to the San Juan's. If the WX is favorable possibly head across the straits if even a hint of concern we'll go the Deception Pass route.
We are initially thinking an evening anchored in Prevost Harbor on Stuart Island might be a good way to "rough" it as an experiment prior to heading over to Roche on 26th.
Anyone with a remotely similar idea would be welcome to join us for any portion of our initial itinerary.
