C30 Hardtop Collects Water

We have had this issue from the beginning, and it has finally annoyed me too far. The hardtop that extends halfway through the cockpit collects water, then spills it down your neck as the boat rocks. Or, just collects and stays there growing algae in the marina (thanks, Pacific Norwest).

Has anyone had this issue and/or come up with a solution? Are there other search parameters that I should have used to find old posts?

I've got the same issue and I agree it's very annoying. I tried some of this stuff http://rvgutters.com/ultrawhitemarinegu ... iation=183 and installed it around the perimeter of the hardtop but, because the hardtop slopes aft, all it does is collect the water until enough builds up then spills over and gives you a really good dousing when the boat rocks side to side. The only other thing I can think of would be to install some drain holes or a larger gutter around the edge with downspouts to direct the water elsewhere. It might be quite the ugly addition. All in all, it illustrates the folly of building a roof without allowing for water drainage.

I was considering the drain option, hoses only connected when we are on the boat. I was hoping for a simpler, cleaner fix. Oh well.
