Calling all Portland area Tugnuts

Who did we see from the Columbia River beach at Woodland Wa. about noon last Saturday/Sunday?
It appeared to be a 25 Ranger heading up stream towards Vancouver / Portland. We could not tell the color as the sun was so bright and the water was reflecting like a mirror. It appears that you were not in the fuel saving mode. Looked good and made me wish that we were out there as well. We were on a shake down cruise of our new land yacht at a campground on the Columbia. (can't stay away from the water)

Hello, Don,
You harpooned us dead on. We put in at Chinook Landing on Thursday, went to Coon Island, caught a salmon, and spent the night. Headed to Cathlamet Fri. and spent the night there and headed back up river to Coon Island on Sat. Then on to Government Island for Sun. night. Trailered Mon mid morning. Were you at the County Line campground? Oh, by the way, Sisu is a beautiful Ranger gray and it was a lovely day.

We were trailer camping at the Columbia Riverside RV. Park Woodland Wa. Didn't know that was you. We remember you from the rendezvous last summer at Sundance Marina. We were on your starboard side on the dock that weekend. What a shame to see what the fire did to this first class operation. To all the 350 boat owners including, I believe two Ranger tug owners. Also to the owner and the great people that worked at Sundance. I hope everyone recovers from their losses.
We look forward to see both of you and all others at the Roche Harbor Rendezvous in Sept.

Hi- We are in Eugene, though we keep our R31 in the water in Tacoma and do not have a trailer at this time. We would still like to swing over and say hello to everyone before you all leave a marina!!

Hey Portland Gang-

We recently sold our house in Portland and bought a house in Anacortes. If everyone going to the rendezvous from the Portland area wants to get together up there before the rendezvous before everyone heads over to Roche let me know. We have lots of time to plan it. We could drink Portland beer, eat Zenners sausages, and they everyone could ride their bike back to their boat. Perhaps lunch on Tuesday???

Gina and Colleen-
We have Rocinante, a 2012 R29, soon to be moved to Portland Yacht Club. She's currently at Sundance Marina in the water getting her Bimini replaced with a nice navy blue one. We are the former owners of the RT25SC Blue Yonder from Camas, WA that was a total loss in the February Sundance Marine fire.

We'd probably join up for, something in early October. Until then we'll see all you tugnuts on the water!

I recognize this is an old thread, but Ken and Diane on Splash, a Cutwater 30, are in the Portland Yacht Club, N dock. Back to Oregon in July.

Please add us to the list. We have a C28 which we keep on a trailer in Vancouver.
