Canadian Supplier Wanted

Hello Ranger Factory

I have a 2010 R25 and need replacement for a "Walkway light" (starboard forward).

Cheap plastic construction cracked and fell apart - leaked water into the vee-berth area ruining cushions (black mold).
My boat is only four years old!

Local suppliers and chandlery are unable to provide replacement.

Can you send me a supplier of this Walkway light?

Second problem is that I've been searching for months for a Canadian supplier or a U.S. supplier that would ship to Canada some Side-power thruster zincs or aluminum anodes. Part number I believe is SM3-1180.

SIDETHRUSTER ZINCS are available in Sidney at Delta Marine. I bought some in Nov 2013 at $12.40 each. Their phone number is 250-656-2639, and I think it is Rob in Parts that you would want to speak to. Delta fixes a lot of boat "things" including my windlass last month. Their shop is close to the Swartz Bay ferry terminal, in the Westport Marine complex. You have the correct part number: SM31180.

I just lifted my R25, cleaned the bottom and replaced all zincs. I couldn't get the bow thruster to thread in -- and as you only have 3 threads to play with, it could be an expensive problem. A friend got a hat pin and dug out bottom paint in the threads -- and that worked. Other ideas had been tried prior; that was the "Hail Mary" fix.

For your SidePower zincs and most all zincs for your boat check out Boatzincs.com I've used them for years but have no personal knowledge if they ship to Canada. Check them out online and call them, they are very service oriented.
