Has anyone had some good work done in Gig Harbor/Tacoma to enclose the stern deck of a Ranger 29 or other?
or
Does anyone have good ideas on how to do it, best materials, etc?
John

I had King Marine do the enclosure on my 27OB and I was happy with the results. They are in Seattle, not sure how close you are to there.

Thanks!
Seattle is only a boat ride away. I will check them out.

I left you a PM with info. We used King Canvas for our two tugs. They are great!

We had our R27OB enclosed this last fall by King Marine. It seems well made. We have the boat in Gig Harbor, if you would like to stop by and look at the workmanship PM me.

I will be getting my 29S in about a month, so I called them today to inquire about the cost and timing. Said they are booked out a little more than a month and the cost would be about $5K.

We had King Canvass install a totally enclosed cockpit area with closable screens put in one panel on each side as well as in the stern panel for ventilation. We also had complete privacy curtains that is put up with Velcro making a fully private room. It was custom made with area for mounted outboard keeping the area totally enclosed. The panels can easily be rolled up and secured or unzipped and removed. It became a man cave and is very comfortable! King Canvass did a great job!

I just want to add an observation.
On our top the fabric below the window would have been nicer if it had have been lower. I found when sitting in the cockpit an inch or so lower would have improved the line of vision quite a bit.
Living on the boat pretty much full time the cockpit becomes our living room. Having it closed in adds a lot of living space.
Good luck with your install.
