Captain's chair option? Ranger 27 OB

I am just about to order a R27 OB, and I was wondering if a Captain's chair was even an option?

As a single guy who will cruise solo 90% of the time, and for fairly long distances, I think the extra comfort would be worthwhile.

Is it even possible? Or is the bench seat required for fitting the micro etc.?

Has anyone else done this?

Based on the taller cave in the 2021 models and newer, the helm seat recesses down into the box it sits on. I don't know that you could put in a helm chair of sorts. We've done 60nm at a sitting (a little under 3 hours at 25'ish knots) and it's been comfortable.

Thanks Martin. I have spoken to the dealer and it might be possible to do a helm chair. I'll be visiting them tomorrow to look at options.
