Where do you get the Captains Chairs you are putting on the new R27's?
I want to replace my chair and I saw the new ones at a boat show.

I believe they make all the seats themselves in house. The new styles of seats may not exactly match the attachment points found in the older seats so you might need to make a few modifications. Suggest you call the RT parts dept to discuss.

Me too...maybe. Got a pic of the new chair?

TK, I just added four photos to my album "Upholstery Upgrade" that show the newer R27 Captains Chair in some detail. Hope that helps!

Try Lebronc Chairs. I put one on my R27 and like the arms, and it fits the base of the flip up helm chair. I made a terry cloth slip cover for warm weather and keeps me from sliding on the vinyl, and is easy to wash with sun tan oils etc. 🙂 The sales man is generally at all the boat shows, Trawlerfest, Seattle, Miami, Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale.

The chair that is currently on my R27 is stamped Springfield Marine on the bracket.
I checked their website and can't find anything that size.

ALiceJ,

Which Llebroc chair did you purchase? I really like their look, especially in that they have arms.

For other that might be interested, here is a link to the Llebroc site... http://www.llebroc.com/

TK I believe it's the Mini . Talk to Greg at Llebronc, he' s a good guy and will suggest the proper chair with arms. I used the swivel that came with R27, and can move the seat forward, back, swivel, set the back to reclining or straight up. I am reinforcing the seat hinges because of a rough crossing and quartering seas the screws came loose. I also made a riser on the foot rest to accommodate my short legs. The seat tips forward just like the R27.

Has anyone changed the aft dinnette cushion to two swivel seats? I'm thinking I could remove the cushion and mount swivels and seats through the hard surface under the seat. Think helm chairs, maybe high back. The dinnette seating is not comfortable and I'm looking for a more normal seat with back support. If so, can you please post a picture?
