Captains door on 2012 R29 stuck in open position.

The side cabin door on my R29 is stuck in open position. Any others with this problem, and solution ideas. The lever you lift does not want to lift. Did this once before but dot remember what I did to open it. This looks like it may have opened too far?
 
It happened to our 2010 R29. Used a wide putty knife to pry the door away from the frame and get the door open. After put a stop in to keep the door from opening to far.

Latter we did fine the key to the door that may have helped.
