When looking (ok... 'drooling') over a new RT-29, I couldn't help noticing that the two cockpit 'jump' seats sit at a different level than the reversible stern seat.

This seems undesirable... don't you want to have all your guests seated at the same height?

I did a brief inspection, and it looks like adjustments could be made to mitigate this... It appears the hinge could be re-mounted against the side & against the cushion.

Has anyone tried this?

Sorry to be a smart butt, but why? To be at the same eye level? ...Some people are short, some tall...

Doesnt matter, as long as the seats are comfortable. The distance in the cockpit is too far for a filler sun pad, or for everyone to be sharing the same table, so small variations in height wont matter.

My experience is folks like to be seated at the same height & it is much more comfortable to have a table at an expected level... if you've ever been to a dinner (or a meeting) and gotten the 'short' chair you know how that feels.
