Greetings one and all,

Martin and LaZina Nethkin have generously agreed to talk with my Multimedia Journalism students at 1 p.m., Wednesday, about their informative and entertaining media venture Channel Surfing, which is also the name of their 27-foot OB Ranger Tug.

The Nethkins have a YouTube channel: lets go channel surfing
They have an Instagram account: lets_go_channel_surfing
They have a website: letsgochannelsurfing.com
And they can be found at two places on Facebook: channel surfing, and R27-OB Ranger Tugs

I have asked them to tell my students, all relative newbies in the multimedia journalism field, about how and why they created Channel Surfing. What special skills or tools do you need to create your own digital media venture? I've also asked Martin and LaZina to share videos and other details about Channel Surfing with my students.

Now, they have agreed to let me invite tugnutters to join the Zoom session. They agreed to answer any questions from students and from folks at this site. So if any of you are not familiar with Channel Surfing, I encourage you to check them out online.

And, feel free to come to Wednesday's Zoom session and learn "live" all about Channel Surfing. It should last about 45 minutes. Here's the Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87845689087?p ... fPbZPttV.1

Hope to see/hear everyone on Wednesday.

John
