Can someone please tell me which brand/model is on the above?
I may be the newest R27 owner, not yet in possession, or I would look and see.
Will my Nesspresso machine work?
Thanks

I'm not on the boat at the moment but I'm pretty sure the inverter on our 2014 R27 is a ProMariner 1500. The battery charger is a separate unit. The inverter can power the microwave (with nothing else on) so I expect the Nespresso would not be problem as long as you make sure all the other 120v breakers are off.

We have a generator but our friend hates generators and he has an R 27 his name is Mike. He always started his boat's engine when he runs high amperage draw appliances like a peculator when using the inverter. I just deal with compensating for the telltale generator list and start my generator. I tell my wife to just sit on the other side. How's it going Jim?

If you search "nespresso" on this site, you will see that the simple answer is "probably no".

It seems that the Nesspresso machine has an issue with the cleanness of the power not the output of the inverter. You may want to carry a french press. 😀

I can run my DeLonghi expresso machine that grinds the beans and makes steam and expresso off the inverter , but my Bosch Tassimo will not work. As said not the amount of power but the quality of the power. Others have changed their inverter to a pure sine inverter and been able to use lots of things us with the modified sine inverters can not. I found for the cost I just fire up the generator.. If ordering a new boat and this is important to you, get them to change your inverter.

Promarine 1500.Some upgrade to 2000.
I have not had any issues with the 1500.I use Small electric coffee maker on shore power.Use French Press on hook.Congrads on 27.Hope all is well in France.Look forward to seeing you guys in fall.

I just bought the Staresso manual espresso maker and have used it on the boat for the last 10 days. Excellent product. Zero electrical power. Like a French press but espresso pressure. Good for only one cup per use (my wife doesn't drink espresso). Need to heat your water on the stove or microwave first.

We own a nespresso machine that is our backup machine at home but it does not work via the inverter with the quasi sine wave on the boat. We purchased a Caffemotive Bacchi Stovetop Espresso Maker from 1st Line Equipment and it works on the stove top. Unlike most stovetop devices, it is a true espresso machine in that it uses pressure to pump the liquid through the compressed coffee grounds at the proper pressure and temperature. It is also very cool to look at. http://www.1st-line.com/store/pc/Caffem ... 9p6429.htm
