In order to check the anodes on the 6By, the service manual as a first step has you draining the cooling system. This is no doubt technically correct but seems very time consuming. I am wondering if these zincs cannot be removed on the fly, so to speak, stopping any leakage with a new zinc while examining the old. Perhaps, providing the heat exchanger zinc remains in place, little water will come out when the charge air cooler zinc is removed. Any advice on the do and dont's in this area would be much appreciated-Doug
