Hello fellow Ranger Tugs and Cutwater Owners,
As most of you know, we are not having a Chesapeake Bay Pocket Yacht Knot (CBPYK) again this year due to COVID-19. We understand that things are starting to turn around, and it looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel…we just hope it isn’t a train. However, as Delaware, Maryland and Virginia (DelMarVA) start to rescind their restrictions, we want to be able to enjoy our weekends with our fellow boaters.
Since we won’t be having an official “Rendezvous” this year, we are going to promote having “Gatherings”. These gatherings won’t be a sponsored event, so unlike our annual CBPYK with sponsored “meet and greets”, informative seminars, fun themes, catered dinners and prizes, we will rather put out a call to whoever wants to meet up for an unofficial gathering. These gatherings will promote fellowship amongst our fleet owners of Ranger Tug and Cutwater boats throughout this year’s boating season.
To start this year’s gatherings, we, along with James and Wendy Appel will be gathering at the Hyatt River Marsh Marina in Cambridge, MD, from June 18-20th. If you would like to join us, please make your reservations thru Dockwa.com.
If you have a favorite destination, and would like to share a date where other Ranger Tug/Cutwater boats can join you on the Bay, please reply to this post and post it on our Chesapeake Bay Pocket Yacht Knot Facebook page.
Regards,
John & Tracey Garcia
