SAVE THE DATE EVERYONE...the 2014 CBPYR will take place May 30-June 1 at the Spring Cove Marina in Solomons, Maryland. The registration fee to attend will be $50/boat or $25/person if arriving by land. We are currently trying to solidify our weekend events, so as more information becomes available, I will update this announcement.

John, who should I express my interest to in attending? Mark did mention the event to us when we purchased our boat. I think we can do it.

Corey,

I will keep a list of who will be interested in attending. I should have additional information coming out later, and we'll let folks know by this forum or thru email what that information is. I'm glad you and Tracy can attend. It's a great way of meeting fellow Ranger Tug/Cutwater owners in the area.

If anyone else is interested in attending, please let me know by replying to this string or shooting me a pm. 😀 Our goal is to have 25 boats at this year's rendezvous!!!

Thanks John. Unless I loose another appendix, I'm pretty sure we'll be there. How many miles from West River?

Bill,

I'm no expert at charts, but I can get lost like nobody's business with a military topographic map, but from what I can gather, my guestimation is about 40 nautical miles.

Michael,

If you guys can make it, will you be bringing your camera? One thing we need to do is take a group picture.

Looking forward to it. Count me in!

Ah, the stars (and a vacation period) align! We are looking forward to bringing Chessie up to Solomons - a great boating area and a day's cruise closer than the Annapolis Area for folks from Virginia. Just gotta get past the "Potomac Ocean" some of us are familiar with. Thanks John and Tracey for doing Admiral duties again.

Let us know if any Va. Tugnutters have any plans taking boats up the bay and maybe we can make it a cruise. There are some great marinas and places to anchor on the way up the bay to Solomons (one of our old stomping grounds).

Hi, Sandy and I are planning on attending on The Beach House, please keep us in mind. This will be our first and The Beach House is our first boat.

Dottie and I will attend. We will not take our boat though. We live just across the bridge from the marina. One of our dogs is getting too old for boating and such.

Bud & Elaine, Rick & Dottie,

We are looking forward to seeing you guys again. Tracey and I can't wait to see Chessie, and no worries about coming by land, Rick. We totally understand.

Keith and Sandy,

We are always so excited to have new owners join our rendezvous. Tracey and I can't wait to meet you guys, and ya'll are going to meet some great fellow boat owners.

We are off to a great start!! Additional information will be made available next week.

Is this a rendezvous for Ranger Tugs or is it open to all types of pocket yachts? My wife and I own a 2006 Cape Cruiser (C-Dory) Venture 23 and will be cruising up the ICW in May. We recently attended a C-Brats gathering on the St. John's River and had an absolutely wonderful time. We aren't yet certain of our timing into the Chesapeake but would like to put this on our calendar if our timing looks good and the attendance is open. Is there a site for any additional info?

Due to the relationship that Ranger Tugs/Cutwater has with C-Dory, our rendezvous is open to C-Dory owners as well. Please consider yourselves invited. We hope your calendar will afford you the possibility of joining us on that weekend. If you could please send me a PM with your personal email, I will ensure that you receive any additional information we put out.
