Hi! My wife and I have a new-to-us 2020 R27 OB w the discontinued 3.5 kw Westerbeke. We bought it last year, and we keep it in DC on the Potomac year round. I use it as my office, and I clear my head by tinkering. The previous owners didn’t do any modifications post-factory, so I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with new set ups and devices. We love this boat. I’ve benefited a ton from everyone’s posts here, and hope to contribute more.
We don’t have space to store a trailer in DC, but I’d like have flexible access to one for maintenance and local trips. Maybe more ambitious trips too as our baby (not a boat, actual human baby) gets older.
So, I’d love to connect with anyone in the DMV area who:
1) has a trailer and is interested in working out a borrowing arrangement. Happy to pay or otherwise compensate.
2) has similar trailer needs and is interested in sharing expenses, incl storage;
3) has trailer rental and/or hauling services recs;
4) has other solutions!
