Hi everyone,

Wanted to share a video I made fishing from my R-23 near Prince Rupert! We had a great day with Chinook and Coho salmon. I am also trying to grow my channel which mainly features experiences on my R-23! Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for posting! It brought back a lot of great memories of our time catching the same two species in Lake Michigan. The Coho always came in the spring of the year in the southern part of the lake, and the "Kings" , Chinook, were caught mostly in July and August in the central to nothern part ot the lake.
Our best day ever was in late August, 4 downriggers and 2 dypsey divers on the outriggers. We just finished setting up, and all 6 lines went off within minutes of each other.....what a wonderful mess! We landed all 6 Kings, the smallest was 24 pounds. We reset our lines just as the sun set and caught 5 more so we had to throw 1 back as the limit was 5 fish each at the time.
My wife could not believe we limited out in three hours dock to dock.
You guys look like you had a fantastic time! Congratulations on your success!
Terry
