I have a 2011 R29 and just took it out of dry storage today planning to get it ready for the upcoming boating season. While getting it ready to tow from the storage place I noticed that on the Port side of the hull about 5 feet from the stern there is a gap between the hull and Chrome trim that is about 5/8 of an inch. I did not notice that problem last year. I even did a cut and buff and waxed it myself so I am sure I would have noticed but who really knows. The Starboard side is nice and tight right up to the radius that is molded to the top of the hull. I had it lifted out with a sling and power washed before I took it to dry storage for the winter. I am wondering if that could have caused the problem It is still dirty where the sling was and they had the sling 2 feet forward of where the cutout is in the trailer bunker. Any problem with that? The trim is also low on the hull compared with the other side. The trim can not move up on the white top part of the boat. It is about as far as it can go without going past the vertical part of the fiberglass there but the trim is 3/4 below the radius on top of the hull (compared to being nice and tight on the other side). It is like the hull and top are too close together in this area. I do not know exactly how the hull is built and joined (I guess I need to take a tour at the factory) so I thought I would ask for some advice. Thanks!
