We are so happy to be a part of the Ranger Tug Family.
Our journey started a couple years ago at the 2011 Seattle Boat Show. Amongst the fishing vessels and mega yachts were the cutest tugs we had ever seen. Stylish in design and comfortable. The Ranger Tug quickly became an obsession. It was all we could talk about. At the boats a float show on Lake Union in 2012 the final decision was made after a test drive - we needed an R 29!
BUT here is the deal...
My husband was turning 50 in November and I could not think of a better way to celebrate his birthday than to surprise him with a tug. Working with Jeff, Andrew and Howard, I was able to surprise him with a trip to the Monroe factory where Andrew presented him with a Ranger Tug jacket and a factory tour. At the end of the tour Andrew took us to the office where there was a white board that said "2013 Seattle Boat Show". Without skipping a beat he erased the boat show and put our last name in its place and said to Mark let's finalize the options for your tug. It took Mark a moment to realize what was going on.
What a great experience to be able to walk in the mold of your tug and to watch the progress as it is assembled. Howard and crew were so gracious on each visit. They made us feel welcome each and every time. When we couldn't be there Howard would send pictures of mile stones so we were part of the process.
Working with Ranger Jeff and Andrew and Howard was a blessing. They made the whole process a pleasure. We could not be more happy with our tug.
After taking delivery we had two days of on the water training with Captain Mac which gave us the knowledge and skills we need to discover the beautiful Pacific Northwest and beyond.
So looking forward to a summer of cruising the Sound and meeting our Ranger Tug Family.
We'll see ya on the water!
