clarion cmd4a radio/cd

Had to take out the c/d radio to check wiring Etc. on my 2008 R25 But when I reconnected and put it back in, almost nothing worked. No buttons or display. On off button works and it plays c/d but no other button works. Did I screw it up somehow or is there a secret to get it to work. I fear I might have to get a whole new radio. I double checked all the connections and wiring to no avail.

Did you try the reset button?
To reset the head unit, open the front panel up by pressing the oval Clarion button on the face of the head unit. There is a reset button on the bottom left side of the CD slot. With a paper clip, press and hold the button in for about 2 seconds.
We upgraded our CMD5 to the CMD6 (same wiring) and are happy we did. A bit more power and an optional input for a USB that allows for direct connection to our iPhones while charging them at the same time. I think the CMD4 uses the same wiring harness as the CMD6 but not positive...
