As a couple of others (walldog and knotflying) have reported using I have also used the K&N Recharger kit to service the air filter on my 4BY2-180. At 125 hours I was surprised at how much dirt came off of it. After cleaning, drying, then re-oiling it is a nice pretty pink color. I will now do this regularly at 100 hour intervals. The K&N kit has plenty of detergent and oil for many more cleanings.
