Cleaning canvas, windshield vinyl screens,etc

I have a 2019 Ranger 23 with 3 Seasons on Long Island Sound, NY (salt water). I have all Factory covers including- Bimini top, seat covers, shower cover canvas and canvas trimmed vinyl outside windshield screens- at home for the winter ---- they are in good shape, but other than freshwater wash down at slip after using in summer-- they have never been washed. I was originally thinking of putting them in gentle lukewarm cycle wash and air drying on clothesline? Now I am thinking that might be too aggressive and a good soaking in large tub lukewarm water/Dawn soap and several rinses, then line dry-- is the way to go? Any thoughts/comments on your successful methods would be appreciated.

You are on the right path. Putting the canvas in a washing machine was not recommended by my canvas guy. A mild soap like Woolite and scrubbing with a light brush while stretched out on a deck and then rinse and hang to dry. You may also want to then use Starbrite water repellent, stain and UV protectant on the bimini.
