Cleaning Shore-power cords

My shore-power cord is getting dirty and oxidized from exposure. What is the best way to clean and/or treat this to keep it looking good and last longer? It is the gray colored one that came with the boat (2012 CW28). Thanks!
 
I would try Windex first, then some Simple green if that does not do it use Soft Scrub with bleach. Then maybe after you get it clean try coating it with some Armor all. I go for the seasoned look. :|

You might try taking a Clorox Wipe, and working your way down the power cord with that. Always worked for us with the yellow cords.
