I have a 2012 29' & was thinking about installing something like Raptor Deck or Flexiteek in the cockpit. I have the carpet from the factory but it seems to be in the way every time I want to get in one of the Hatches.
Raptor Deck would be about $1200.00 excluding the swim platform (product only), not sure about Flexiteek.
Does anyone have Flexiteek or another product on their Ranger?

Tanks,
Matt Murphy

I'm planning on Raptor Deck as well and would also appreciate any input.

We had Raptor Deck installed in our cockpit and swim step. It's wonderful. Looks good, easy to clean (even dreaded otter poop) and feels really good underfoot, and especially when we're crawling around on our knees to access hatches. We're planning on having it installed on our flybridge. It's been on since last June and is holding up well. Great product an a great locally owned company.

Cheers,

Bruce

We installed Raptor decking in our R29 cockpit two years ago. It took an afternoon and was not difficult to install. Key is to have the fiberglass absolutely clean. We travel with two labs and the surface has held up well to their paws. Traction is great, especially when wet. Company was great. We had modified our cockpit adding removable bench seats, one with a leg. I sent Raptor the leg location and they modified that piece to so the leg sat on the fiberglass deck. Can't get better service than that!

We are thinking of getting the Raptor deck for our 27OB. We have 2 80lb mutts and we were concerned about their traction, or lack there of, on the fiberglass deck. We were hoping the Raptor deck would give them some traction. Sounds like it works well.

I have a friend with a cutwater 30 who installed raptor deck last year and it is fabulous. I am thinking about the cockpit floor AND installing it under the cockpit roof which has been a problem from the beginnning. Raptor deck in Seattle says they can do that as well. Will let you know the cost of this installation.
Stay safe everyone.
