Cockpit Hatches Gaskets - Choices Classic 27

All the gaskets on cockpit are flat - allowing water to pass through, especially when washing or being pooped by large seas (kidding)

Has anyone replaced them gaskets and what did you use? Most importantly did it work? Amazon stuff Ive seen is not that good - MacMaaster Carr seems to have some good choices. Im leaning to a hollow D shape - cheap it is not.,

I have used very similar to Hollow D shape you linked when I replaced a few roof hatch gaskets. I also re-bed the hatch itself with butyl tape as I was having leaks form at the base foam OEM gasket due to age causing it to become brittle. So far so good... I plan to replace the rest this summer once the weather warms up a bit.
