We have a 2016 R-29S. Discovered today that both courtesy lights in the cockpit and one of the two transom lights are not working. Since one does work, I conclude that the problem is with the lights and not the switch. Does anyone know what courtesy lights Ranger is using and where they are getting them?
Thanks

Received from Ranger parts manager:

“ We use a proprietary LED made just for our boats by Hella. They sell for $19.95 a piece before tax/shipping. Color options are red, blue, white and amber.

We a handful of each color on hand and can ship them same day. Just let me know how many and of which color.

You can submit your shipping/contact info and HIN here - https://forms.gle/c86kJzCLUQ6xdEST8
*This sets you up for future orders also.

Hi,

How do you remove the original lights? I have tried flat blade screwdriver and a channel locks. Nothing will allow me to take the cover off. Thanks.

There is a cover over each of the mounting screws that must be pried off to access the screws. Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove this cover without destroying it. Martin from the YouTube channel “Let’s go channel surfing” has a video on this subject. Replacing the lights is fairly easy.
