My Command Bridge helm speakers on my 2019 C30 CB are seriously inadequate, and not properly placed. I saw Dave @dbsea put a stand alone sub-enclosure under the helm. I‘’m thinking possibly a speaker in the dash above the helm (see yellow arrow in photo bellow), or possibly a small tower style speaker (like on wake board boats/sometimes referred as rocket speakers) that would mount to the dash. I am not needing to have a concert up top, but do steer 90% of the time from the command bridge and would like to enjoy music up there. I also would like to instal myself and keep it looking somewhat stock.

Two questions:
Has Ranger/Cutwater changed what they provide now on newer models with command bridges? Specifically a dash mounted location?
What have other people done?

These are the “Rocket” style I was referring to that have a separate mounting bracket for a flat surface.

Great speakers!

hey Koi, I never ended up doing anything on my flybridge speakers wise, I just have better 4.5" speakers than the stock. I rarely listen to the stereo at full speed, usually paying too lose attention to logs or waves or boats... The tower mount speakers seem to make the most sense on the flybridge, with no impact to your fiberglass. drilling through that gelcoat with a hole saw is a very delicate operation (speaking from experience)
