Congrats to all of you in Seattle who follow the Seahawks. I know there are lots of you there in the soggy Northwest. Us Bay Area Tugnuts will sulk until next September. On to the Super Bowl for you, back to sunshine, warm weather and drought for us.

It doesn't happen often but when it does, it doesn't get any better. The rivalry made it the best game I've seen in a long time. Go hawks and tugboats!

The west is the best. I grew up a niner fan (4th generation Bay Area), but after 15 years in Seattle, have become a Seahawks fan. Now it's time to root for the NFC. Go Hawks!

Visited my local Starbucks yesterday and all the barristers were decked out in Hawks gear. I mentioned the word "Hawks" and I was instantly charged just 11 cents for my coffee request.... 😱 ...and this before the game finished. 😀

My daughter who lives in SF went to her local corner store yesterday during game time. The store person was all dressed up and even had flags on his car outside. And he was like, hey where are you from?! And daughter said, um, Seattle, all innocent like. And then he was all like, well here's a napkin, presumably to wipe away her tears... And then daughter said... I think the cities have a lot in common with each other. Every guy in the store like that and agreed!

San Francisco is Seattles pretty big sister and Seattle/we always look up to the older sister. San Francisco has won 4 super bowls and a World Series, and Seattle has won neither. We deserve a shot to the Super Bowl. We have great respect to San Francisco.
