How do you connect the majestic tv to cable at the marina? I have a 2017 R27

Hello. Sorry but we do not install cable outlets on our boats. You would need to install a cable outlet and run to the TV for this to work.

Thank you,

When we had a R27 I ran a coaxial cable from the tv thru the cavities of the interior and into the cockpit thru a starboard side locker. In the cockpit I installed a typical wall plate. When at dock I could then connect a coaxial cable to shore and the cockpit connection and have cable tv. Honestly thou we found air tv to be just as good in a lot of cases... not all.

On my R27 I installed an A/B coaxial switch near the TV to select antenna or CATV. I ran a coax cable to the cockpit and installed a RV style CATV jack with lid next to the washdown pump outlet.

On our R29 CB our dealer Pocket Yachts installed an A/B switch behind the door in the cave by the breaker panel and the CATV connector by the shore power outlets. Works great and easy to connect at marinas with cable!

Here is how we connect cable tv.
First picture is switch behind electronics, second in inside view of connector, thirds outside of connector without weather cover.
Very easy to access behind electronics with door in stateroom on R31CB.
There are larger images on my picture gallery.

The cockpit installation on our C26 is identical to yours. I installed an addition TV this winter. The cable and antenna switching is similar just multiplied by 2. Works great we get good reception with the antenna. I tested the cable attachment in the cockpit by attaching coaxial from our house ( our marina doesn't have Cable) It works good. The second TV (smart TV) mounted in the V-Berth pulls in marina WiFi so we are able to watch streamed programing. When we are at anchor we use our hot spot and inverter to stream shows and Chicago Cubs! Because of the poor picture quality of the Majestic we only use it for watching the news in the morning while sitting at the dinette. ( Our majestic TV picture quality is only good if we watch it with straight viewing, I mounted a bracket so we can change the angles which helped but it still is average at best)
