Could the Factory respond on the status of models?

Could someone from the factory respond with some authority on the current and future status of the 21, 25SC and 27 diesel models??

Given the change in RT's web site showing all current models this is IMO a very reasonable request and something that is needed for all owners of the R-21EC, R-25SC and R-27 diesel models. RT is famous for its customer service and informing these owners in some way is and should be expected. I wonder if the RT dealerships have been informed about the web site changes ?

Yes but that is not a very definitive answer for the owners.

I understand that folks want a definitive answer but I would guess at this point that Ranger simply may not know at this point, and that is fair. Businesses change as do people and examing the model lineup has to be a prudent step on a periodic basis. If the demand is there along with capacity to build I am sure they will continue, if not, well then that is a different story.

That seems a very reasonable approach. As the owner of a 2017 R25SC I’m glad I was able to get one before the boat went, temporarily or permanently, off the production schedule. It doesn’t matter too much now whether they come back or not since I won’t be changing for a few years.

As it stands today, we are not producing any Ranger 21's, 25's or 27's with inboard diesel engines. This is not to say they are forever gone but with the success of the R23 and R27 outboard models, the demand is too high to produce the other models at this time. If something changes, we will update our website to match.

Andrew: I'm curious as to why RT designed the R-23/OB and not a R-25/OB just like for the R-27/Diesel -> R-27/OB ? Was the 23' a magic number or was it influenced by the power of the Yamaha F200 ?

Maybe the R-23 was a good choice for spanning the R-21 and R-25SC with not only size but having a price point sitting somewhat in between the price for the R-21 and R-25SC.

No matter, I wish RT good luck with their R-23 and R-27 outboard models and hope they sell as well as the three inboard diesel models they are replacing. Producing just 2 models rather than 3 models (or maybe 5 models :lol: ) has to simplify production and factory schedules. RT is in a good position IMO for continuing producing their excellent boats and providing great customer service to all of us. Keep the good work up. 🙂
