Having left my boat in salt water for several weeks, I was amazed how many tiny mollusks ad set up house keeping on the propeller, rudder and shaft. How do you remove these little monsters?

A scraper and some elbow grease. If you are going to keep it in salt water you will need to do some bottom painting or you will definitely regret it. It is really amazing how just a little bit can slow your boat down significantly.

If the critters haven't been there too long, a pressure washer will take them off.
Try the car wash.

Depends on where the boat has been these past couple of weeks. The further north you are given this time of year, they tend to hold on pretty good power washing may not do the trick. You probably need a scraper and yes bottom paint good idea.
