I'm curious if anyone has Gone Tuggin' up the Columbia and Snake Rivers? We live in eastern Washington just north of Hells Canyon and are future-TugNuts in training and exploring the idea of cruising down to the Tri-Cities or beyond to Portland/Vancouver.
The pheasant hunting that are is incredible and there is endless Corps of Engineers land that is only accessible by boat, which gives me the idea of using the tug as a mother ship for upland bird hunts.
Curious if there is any experience or lessons learned on these waterways. Some barge traffic and locks to deal with too.
