Canadian resident here.
I've been thinking about taking my first trip in a couple of years over to the San Juan Islands. Pre-pandemic we had to have the cruising license, renewed annually, that we picked up when we cleared, either in Roche or Friday Harbor. Once the cruising license was in hand, together with Nexus card, I could easily clear entry by phone for the rest of the year. Has anyone from Canada made this trip recently? I know that, until the beginning of this month, needing the COVID test and there being no testing sites, at least for foreigners, on San Juan Island, not many people will have been over there. Would someone like to share their experience with the license and any other requirements?
