Hi, i have changed the timing belt of the engine but lost the timing points. Does the camshaft and crankshaft and fuel pump need to be aligned?
Cam and crank are, but the fuel pump no. Engine starts well and at 1500rpm starts to bump rom going up and dowm.
Any sugestion?

Did you ever find a solution? I am rebuilding my qsd 2.0 150 hp and the manual indicates there is a camshaft and crankshaft alignment tools and locking pins that are required to get the timing correct. If anyone has those tools, I would love to rent or buy them.
