We have an RT R25 w/ Cummins 150. The last time out, the Smart Craft guage had the following flashing message at the very top left of the display: "155 IMT High" . I searched thoroughly through the manuals and found no reference to that message. I figure it to be: High Intake Manifold, and the 155 to be the temp. I love it when factory manuals do not include all necessary information. Anyway, all temps were in accordance and no temps increased and all was OK. Has anyone experienced that message? Also, the fuel guage is incorrect at all times, but that's been covered. TUGETHER

TUGETHER:
I have a complete listing of Smartcraft Display Text with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) plus reason. Can confirm the fault code displayed "155 IMT High" is: Intake Air Temperature High Warning. Intake air temperature signal indicates the intake manifold air temperature is above the engine protection critical limit.
I am not sure how to attach a file with a posted reply; therefore, if you send me a message with your email will gladly send you a copy of the complete code listing.
I also run the Cummins 150 in my R25.

Likely a broken wire, or whatever, on the temperature sensor at the intake manifold...
Luckily, I have not seen that message so far...
The only thing that would worry me is if there is a blockage of water flow through the compressed air heat exchanger... You could have normal operating temperature for the block coolant and excessive intake air temperature - which could lead to exhaust valve burning and/or detonation...
The boat is not in the shop for the moment (three tractors under repair clogging up the shop) so I can't step out the door and verify where the intake air sensor is and how to check the water flow through the cooler... Maybe someone else has that info... I'll try to remember it tomorrow when I get over to Dice Road and take a look...

oh oh, several of us had this issue a couple years back. Pretty sure there is an old thread on the subject. You need to have a mechanic replace a hard to find $125 sensor on the front of the engine.

Sorry.
