I have a 2018 Cutwater 24 Coupe that I made some interior improvements to including a shelf under the forward sink aluminum floor panels for the rear side storage compartments and also a shelf that mounts under the fold up seat in the the main cabin that’s good for holding towels or other light weight items. The coolest thing that I found was a small two person lightweight plastic dingy. I made two aluminum mounts that go in the rod holders and it mounts upside down over the back of the boat and outboard. My wife and I have no problem picking it up from the water and placing it on the mounts. I’m not sure how to post photos but can be emailed.

Hi I just bought a c242 and would love to see photos I have been contemplating how to hand a dingy on the rear.

Hi,
My email is kenkeir@gmail.com. Send a message and I’ll send some photos. I would post them on Tugnuts but not sure how to do it.

Also the lightest and smallest Dingy that I could find was from Backwater boats out of Canada. 55 lbs and small enough to work on a 24.

I felt that was a little to big for our 24 ft boat. The dingy I found from the plastic boat company is 47 inches wide and 7.5 ft long. I use a trolling motor and is perfect for the two of us and does not get in our way at all with the stern of the boat. The aluminum mounting system I designed and built. That is a very nice dingy that you have.
Ken Keir.

I also have the Backwater. It sits nicely on the back swim grid on my R23. I use an old 2hp Evinrude 2 stroke that weighs only 34 lbs.I would sure be interested in seeing pictures of your bracket Ken

How do I post photos on Tugnuts or with my posts?
