Last weekend I tried to watch a DVD movie laying down on the V-Berth and it was impossible to see the right color/contrast image due to the TV mounted higher than the bed. I noticed that in order to see the correct picture you have to watch it either at the same height it is mounted or above it.

Has anybody had the same issue?. How did you solve it?.

I had noticed that too on mine. I went into picture settings and made adjustments. All is good now.

I did it, but it did not solve the problem.

Try adjusting the viewing angle by changing the mounting angle if this is possible

It can't be tilted. I think I will need to buy a TV mount to tilt it.

I don't think I'm the first and only person with this issue in a Cutwater 26/28. I don't know the height they mount TVs in other models.

We have a 26 Cutwater2016. The day we took delivery we tried watching the TV in the in the V berth area and it was distorted and shadows , if you look directly at it it's fine . I talked to the dealer Reed Yacht Sales , and they gave me a adjustable mount to install . I installed it and it was a little better but it's still not good . Last weekend the sound started messing up and then it shut off . I would let it set for five minutes and it would work fine for five minutes and then start cutting in and out again . I emailed Majestic and they responded quickly , stating they have had problems with a few Cutwaters power supply . They are sending a power cord that is supposed to resolve the interruption in sound . As for the picture quality. They said that the TV that is in my Cutwater as a slightly limited viewing angles. The new version is better . So I guess that means live with it . They didn't offer to replace it .

I have a C26 and am aware of the viewing angle of the TV. I've contemplated replacing the TV that came from the factory with one that has a wider vertical viewing angle. However, we have a solution today is a bit simpler - we face forward in the v-berth and then watch the TV in the forward mirror - we get a nice clear picture there.
