My gut impression, without any knowledge, is that it will be a fuel guzzling dud.
If you want a go fast get a YellowFin, Donzi, or one of the fire breathing cigarette boats where 435hp is the rating on the engine's starter.

Seems interesting. I'm quite thankful for the 370hp Volvo. When I have a lot of weight on board I can still get on plane easily. And of course I used to own the fire guzzling beast you describe and comparatively speaking the .4 gph idling around and 15 gph at cruising speed is just amazing to me.
