I am looking to put a Cutwater C30 on a boat lift. It has the inboard diesel engine. Do I need custom made bunks for the stepped hull or can I use straight 2" x 12" wood bunks (with carpet)? Any advice on setting up a lift for a C30 is appreciated.

I have a C30 on a lift. The bunks are normal. Additionally, there are two pads at the back of the boat lift that hold the rudder above the lift. My boat lift company built these when I upgraded my boat lift to hold the C30.

Thanks Seadot. By any chance do you have a picture of your setup of the two pads? My lift company said to put in four risers to lift the bunks higher than the cross beams.

Jairaj-See attached. I align the pads with the Lift mark on the boat prior to lifting the C30 out of the water.
