If you're at all like me, you've been dying for some better pictures of the Cutwaters until Jeff does his famous U-tube tours of the boats. Well here are some better pictures from the Seattle boat show that hint at the mid cabin which looks actually useable in what (I think) is a Cutwater 26: http://threesheetsnw.com/boatshow2010/2 ... -cutwater/

Amazing, all over again!

I saw the Cutwater at the 2011 Miami show and was impressed with the layout and finnish but when I hit the side of the hull with my hand it was too thin and I would be concerned with the structural integrity in a heavy weather situation.

Time will tell but the Ranger is a lot more solid.

I also saw the Cutwater at the Miami show for the first time.
I've been looking for a suitable boat in which to do the Great Loop next year.
The 28 may just do it for us.
Some odd stuff however. Does it realy need a total of 5 sinks? below, head, double galley sinks and cockpit. Head and galley would suffice.
I like the trailerable idea. We could spend the summers on Lake Huron and Georgian Bay and the winters in Florida.
With all the rocks around, this is the perfect Georgian Bay boat. Wish there was a dealer in Ontario.
I love the Rangers as well but need something that can keep up with our go-faster friends.
I need to go see this boat behave in the water before I make up my mind.

Only four on ours, the galley one is a single which I wish was a double!
I doubt we'll ever use the one in the 'breakfast nook,' but the one in the cockpit doubles as a hot and cold freshwater shower, and the sink itself is useful for handwashing after handling fish etc.
