New to this whole boating scene, but looking forward to retirement in a few years. Saw (on the internet) the Nordic Tugs, then Ranger Tugs and then the related Cutwater boats. How long have the Cutwater models been in production? Any major differences (other than all the visible cosmetic ones) between Ranger Tugs and Cutwater? Thanks for your help, really enjoy reading the forum. 🙂

When you go inside the cabins it's very apparent that the boats are related.

Apart from the internal layout and the obvious difference in external design, the biggest major difference between the two is the underwater hull shape, which on the Cutwater is stepped and gives a potential for greater speed if desired.

Hello Jake,

We first introduced the Cutwater line at the Seattle Boat Show of 2011. We will be coming up on a year here soon. Feel free to send me an email directly with other questions and I will be happy to respond.
