I am shopping for a C-28 or Ranger 27. My problem is that I live in Cape Coral and have an 8'6" bridge to deal with. I do have a canal neighbor who has a C-28 but he is limited to a lower tide level. I know with the mast down the bridge clearance is 9'01" but I was wondering if anyone had modified the radar, etc to make it lower. i will probably never really need radar but even so I would think a quick connect set up and after market hinges or temp removal is possible. Even a few inches below the 9' 01" would be helpful. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks
