I just received a letter from Volvo about bringing in my ranger 27 with d3-200 motor in to a Volvo dealer for installation of a protective cover over some EPA mandates label on the engine.

There’s like a 0 percent chance I will expend the effort to do this. I’m curious what the fix looks like and if I can spray some clear sealant or something of the like.
 
Hello wesc,

The campaign is concerning the engine information on top of the engine. I wouldn’t recommend spraying anything on this area or using harsh cleaners as this can erase the information. Please send your engine serial number to my email listed below and I’ll see what I can do to help.
