D4-260 impeller replacement correct part

I'm getting ready to replace the impeller on our C28, and was scoping out the job after reading all the posts on the forum. The water pump on my engine does not match what's in the service manual, and I don't think it matches the replacement impeller that I got from Cutwater parts when I first got the boat. The service manual shows a water pump with a circular back cover, and the replacement kit I have has a circular gasket. However, the pump on my boat has a cover for the water pump that is closer to rectangular, as shown in this picture: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1sw9j77ib224 ... T0sra?dl=0. I'm concerned that I'll get into this, get the water pump cover off, and find out I have the wrong replacement. Can anyone confirm the correct part number/replacement impeller for the version of the water pump I've got? I have the D4-300 (2019). Mine is the snowman style impeller. I can’t say for sure, but from the outside, it sure looks the same as yours (with a square housing on the outside). Very different from the round style impeller housing, which I have seen on another D4 engine. According to the local dealer, the round one is newer, but the changeover was slow and the engines in some model years came out with both styles. I think you’re on the right track suspecting that yours is the snowman style. The Volvo impeller kit part number for mine in the D4-300 is 3588475.
