D4 300 Air Filter Question

I'm on Martha's Vineyard preparing to cruise up towards Gloucester. Checked my air filter and it was a bit dirty (see attached photo ) but no local dealer has the part.

My question: Can I safely continue with my journey? I'm sure I can pick one up in Gloucester

That is your crankcase breather filter. That one looks normal. It gets dirty fast because of the oil blowback from the input side, its goal is to clean the air before dumping it back into your airbox and protecting your main air filter
